All clear! Cancer lad snubbed by NHS is saved by generous Sun readers who donated £140k for his treatment

The parents of a cancer-stricken toddler who raised £140,000 for lifesaving treatment refused on the NHS last night thanked Sun readers for their generosity after he was given the all clear. Little Alexander Vinson, three, needed specialist proton beam therapy available in the US for a rare brain tumour — but faced a near impossible feat to raise the huge sum of cash to send him to the States.
