Brain tumour boy refused ‘Ashya King’ therapy because his cancer is ‘not on NHS list’

A desperate mum and dad are trying to raise £125,000 in a week to buy their son the same life-saving cancer treatment as Ashya King – after they were refused it by the NHS. Raluca and Phil Vinson claim doctors told them two-year-old Alexander would benefit from proton beam therapy but NHS England insists his rare brain tumour is “not on the list” for treatment.
