Cancer battler Ruby Hodgson to become first UK patient to be re-treated after proton therapy

Four-year-old Ruby Hodgson is set to make history in her ongoing fight against a recurring brain tumour. She faces another course of intensive radiotherapy after the return of the tumour everyone hoped had been banished. Last March, Ruby and her family went to America for the intensive proton therapy treatment, which targets tumours with high accuracy to minimise the chance of brain damage.
