Charity commission backs charity witholding £50,000 from Ashya King

A charity that collected £50,000 for brain tumour boy Ashya King and then refused to hand the money to the family has been backed by the Charity Commission over its conduct. Kids’N’Cancer UK withheld the funds after the NHS eventually agreed to fund five-year-old Ashya’s medical treatment. It said it would spend the money on other children instead.
