Determinants of the combined use of external beam radiotherapy and brachytherapy for low-risk, clinically localized prostate cancer

Using guidelines published by the American Brachytherapy Society, the American Urological Association, and the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), this is the first study to investigate the determinants of a specific case of guideline discordance where low-risk clinically localized prostate cancer patients were treated with external beam radiation therapy and brachytherapy.
