Family of boy battling brain tumour ‘amazed’ after cancer cells shrink

The family of a 13-year-old boy, who has been fighting brain cancer since he was a baby, say they are ‘amazed’ after receiving news that some of the diseased cells are shrinking. Tyler Yates, of Farnham Close, Leigh, was diagnosed with a brain tumour on his first birthday and has since undergone three brain surgeries, five rounds of chemotherapy and two of radiotherapy.
