First patient treated with new Brainlab contouring software for Arteriovenous Malformation Radiosurgery

New Elements SmartBrush Angio by Brainlab has been used clinically for the first time, enabling a direct correlation between diagnostic data sets containing temporal and, respectively spatial, information for a comprehensive definition of a patient’s cranial arteriovenous malformation (AVM) nidus. The patient was treated at St. Luke’s Radiation Oncology Centre at Beaumont Hospital in Dublin.
