Are you living through cancer and would love to talk to someone who understands exactly how you feel because they’ve been there too?

Cancer Buddies Network (CBN) is a free service which enables you to talk to someone who understands exactly how you feel because they’ve been there too. All you have to do is register by completing a simple form. Then you just search for a buddy using the ‘Find a Buddy’ page. You can either chat simply and safely by 1-to-1 private messaging, or join in their forum and talk about all the things that only those who have lived through it can really understand. Family, friends and carers are welcome too. To date there are over 5500 CBN members in the UK connecting with each other.

About Cancer Buddies Network
Jan Rutter founded CBN back in 2003 so that other people could benefit from her own experience of having somebody to talk to, who understood what she was going through, while undergoing treatment and thereafter. She says that she has no doubt that the reason she experienced her own cancer and successfully completed her year of treatment, was so that she would have the personal experience and drive to bring her dream of Cancer Buddies Network to fruition so that it could benefit as many people as possible.

Their website gives more information on the truly unique service they provide. Check it out by clicking here.

Radiotherapy Buddies
Please bear in mind, CBN is a general cancer support network. If you would like to support the idea of specific Radiotherapy Buddies, please contact us on admin@actionradiotherapy.org.
