Improved survival shown in early-stage Hodgkin’s Disease patients who receive radiotherapy

Patients with stage I and II Hodgkin’s Disease who receive consolidated radiotherapy have a higher 10-year survival rate of 84 percent, compared to 76 percent for patients who did not receive radiotherapy, according to research presented at the American Society for Radiation Oncology’s (ASTRO’s) 56th Annual Meeting.
