Parents back campaign for new ‘life-saving’ MRI scanner at Nottingham’s Children Hospital

Parents of children who have battled brain cancer have backed a £2.8 million campaign to get a state-of-the-art MRI scanner at Nottingham Children’s Hospital. The hospital is the leading regional centre for children’s neurosurgery and carries out more than 1,000 MRI scans on children each year but now the hospital is hoping to get a special iMRI, which would mean scans can be carried out during surgery.
