Role of Nrf2 signalling pathway in the radiation tolerance of patients with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma: an in vivo and in vitro study

In our in vivo and in vitro study, we investigated the relationship and possible mechanism between the Nrf2 signalling pathway and the radiation tolerance of patients with HNSCC. Finally, we concluded that down-regulation of the downstream antioxidant genes HO1, NQO1 and GST via inhibiting Nrf2 signalling pathway reduces the radiation tolerance of patients with HNSCC.
