Romford hospital celebrates arrival of state-of-the-art radiotherapy machines

Queen’s Hospital is celebrating this week after obtaining two new radiotherapy machines that will improve their radiotherapy treatment even further and cut patient treatment time by half. The oncology unit has obtained two Varian Halcyon machines, the first in the UK, which will help in the treatment of cancer by not only cutting the treatment time, but also minimising human error and increasing reliability and accuracy.
