Scots doctor tells of Nepal earthquake horror

Diana Ritchie, a consultant clinical oncologist from the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre was in Nepal to teach a series of workshops on modern radiotherapy treatments for cancer patients, when the recent earthquake struck. Diana was part of a team of four British and Irish doctors and a radiographer who travelled to Nepal. Others in the group included Dr Jane Barrett from Reading and Libby Richards, a senior radiographer.
