Supermarket staff raise £2.5k towards cancer treatment

A charity day for an eight-year-old boy battling a brain tumour raised more than £2,500 towards revolutionary treatment. Charlie Ilsley has had to endure surgery and hours of radiotherapy since he was diagnosed earlier this year and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. His parents are trying to raise up to £200,000 to pay for proton therapy treatment.
