Theresa May announces major prostate cancer research plan to halt rise in number of deaths

Theresa May is set to announce a £75m research and care plan to to help thousands of men with prostate cancer get treated earlier and faster in a bid to stop the rise in the number who die from the disease every year. During a visit to a hospital in Cambridgeshire on Tuesday, the Prime Minister will say the project will focus on early diagnosis, innovative new treatments and care for men with prostate cancer.
