Wavertree boy flies to Florida for life saving cancer treatment

A nine-year-old promising tennis star has been flown to Florida for life-saving treatment for a rare cancer. Oliver Beazant from Wavertree complained of a lump in his neck following a winning performance in a tennis tournament in September. After three cycles of chemotherapy at Alder Hey before Christmas it was recommended Oliver’s treatment should continue with radiotherapy and proton beam therapy.
