ARCNet Departmental Members
The Action Radiotherapy Champions Network Alliance Group is the network of radiotherapy professionals who represent each cancer alliance area in the UK. In December 2017, NHS England established eleven cancer alliance networks as a way of organising local stakeholders, such as commissioners and providers, to lead improvement which is key to effecting the transformational change needed to achieve world-class cancer outcomes for their populations. ARCNet have established its own network based on the same principles of NHS England. In addition to these eleven networks, ARCNet have also included: Scotland; Wales; Northern Ireland; and the Private Sector within our Network Alliance group to ensure we reach out to all radiotherapy sectors across the United Kingdom.
The ARCNet alliance group will be led by the AR Champions Network to achieve what we set out in our mission statement. To strive to achieve our common goals, and to develop new strategies in improving awareness of the best radiotherapy treatments and techniques available for patients across the UK.
Each Champions Network member will engage in an online discussion forum and help scope the ARCNet activities in their alliance group area. This will strengthen the networks across the UK.
Teleconference meetings will be held regularly between the Champions Network and webinars will be held for all champions biannually.
