Principal Clinical Scientist (XR08) - (Band 8a)

The successful candidate will be highly motivated and will work closely with the multi-professional team responsible for the integration of the MRSim into the Radiotherapy Service. There will be a significant role in commissioning, clinical implementation and the strategic service development of MR in Radiotherapy. Research and innovation are at the heart of the service and there will be opportunities to contribute and lead projects, including supporting clinical trials.

Principal Physicist Radiotherapy Treatment Planning - (Band 8a)

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, Nottingham

We are seeking to appoint a highly experienced radiotherapy physicist to the role of principal treatment planning physicist. The candidate must have extensive experience of radiotherapy treatment planning physics and requires HCPC registration as a clinical scientist. They must have significant radiotherapy experience in advanced radiotherapy to act as a medical physics expert in radiotherapy under IR(ME)R17. Ideally they should hold registration as a MPE.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Southend University Hospital for a Principal Grade HCPC registered Clinical Scientist, with a particular interest in Brachytherapy, to work in the Radiotherapy Physics section of the Radiotherapy Department.

As the successful candidate you will play a major role in leading brachytherapy whilst also contributing to clinical service support. A large brachytherapy service is provided for patients from the whole of Essex, covering IGBT for Gynae, Prostate, Oesophagus, and Skin. Rectal brachytherapy is in development. This is delivered in a new, purpose built, LDR/HDR Brachytherapy theatre suite within the department.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Scientist to act as treatment planning lead for the Radiotherapy service in Carlisle. You will be employed by Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Trust who have recently begun management of the Carlisle service. The post will be based both in Newcastle and Carlisle with time split approximately equally between the two sites. As the successful candidate, you will play a major role in leading the Radiotherapy Planning service in Carlisle. You would be expected to work closely with colleagues in both Newcastle and Carlisle to harmonise delivery of the Treatment Planning service across the two sites.

Senior Radiotherapy Physicist - (Band 7)

We are looking to recruit a band 7 scientist to join our team in our modern and excellently equipped department. Trainee Clinical Technologist - Radiotherapy Engineering *Temporary* - (Band 5)
