Clinical Specialist in Radiotherapy & Imaging

Oncology Systems Limited, UK Wide

Oncology Systems Ltd (OSL) is a leading supplier and manufacturer of radiotherapy and imaging devices and equipment to the UK, Republic of Ireland and worldwide. OSL has created a new position that would be ideal for a professional with experience in radiotherapy and medical imaging. Knowledge of treatment planning, radiotherapy quality assurance, CT, MR and IT networking configuration would be an advantage.

This field-based role will be customer-facing with medical professionals in the public and private health sectors involving extensive travel to visit hospitals in the UK and Ireland and some virtual work and occasional international travel. The product areas supported in this role are leading-edge, highly software oriented and will include radiotherapy treatment planning, dosimetry and quality assurance. The role will involve working closely with our medical physics, engineering team and clinical/sales specialists to provide customer support, installation, networking, software testing, and to provide product demonstrations and training to end-users of our technology.

Principal Radiotherapy Physicist (Clinical Trials Lead) - (Band 8a)

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Churchill, Oxford

We are looking for an experienced physicist to be appointed to this band 8A clinical trials physicist post in Radiotherapy Physics in Oxford. The postholder will support Radiotherapy clinical trials in Oxford, taking the lead in the Physics aspects of setting up and registering trials, performing the quality assurance required and working with Oncology in the recruitment of patients to the trials. The postholder will work with the Radiotherapy Physics Group on all aspects of treatment planning and machine dosimetry, taking a lead role particularly in developing treatment techniques as related to clinical trials practice. This post operates on a rolling annual funding cycle and is offered with fixed term date of 31st of March 2022 in the first instance. However, with significant clinical trial activity in the department this a long standing position that has been in place under a rolling extension of contract for nearly 10 years.

Specialist Diagnostic Radiographer - (Band 6)

The successful candidate for this specialist radiographer post will be expected to have proven experience or interest in cardiac imaging. We currently have two Phillips Allura Xper FD10 Cardiac Cath labs. The radiographers also cover Pacing theatre, using a GE OEC 9800 Cardiac. There will be rotation into the general x-ray department and an on call commitment to the specialty. Currently, there are weekend ACS lists with the future possibility of extended days.

Senior Radiographer (Rotational) - (Band 6)
