From the initial planning phase to the treatment of the patient, the Brainlab solutions in the field of oncology allow clinical personnel to deliver faster and more precise treatments. Our oncology solutions, such as the Novalis Radiosurgery Platform, are able to deliver non-invasive treatments in just a few minutes and can treat cancerous or non-cancerous tumors anywhere in the body. The launch of the Exactrac Dynamic this year will further enhance our offerings in the delivery of Image Guided and Surface Guided radiotherapy.

To help our customers in the field of radiotherapy and radiosurgery, the Brainlab team is expanding and looking for a home office based field service engineer preferably based in the Midlands ( not essential ).

As Regional Sales Manager you will be responsible for the region of the UK & Ireland and will pursue sales & business development opportunities together with our strategic partners and our existing customers. In a market where Brainlab is well established, the role includes the development of shared sales strategies and techniques as well as leading important projects. As our new team member , you will maintain and develop a professional, innovative and sympathy driven image of Brainlab in front of customers, partners and competitors.

Training will take place at our headquarters in Munich (Germany) and on-the-job joining experienced colleagues in their daily duties. This position will be Home Office based, in the UK.

Advanced Clinical Practitioner- Radiotherapy - (Band 8a)

Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Guildford, Surrey

The main focus of the role will be the provision of an advanced clinical practitioner-led palliative radiotherapy care service. You will collaboratively with internal and external teams to ensure that we are providing effective patient pathways and patient-centred care. The complex needs of our interesting and appreciative patient mix mean that no two days are ever the same and offer plenty of learning opportunities you and our radiographers. Candidates applying with current ACP skill and education to meet the Palliative role requirements will be offered the post at Band 8a. Those applying without the requirements will be offered the post at Band 7, and will transfer to Band 8a on completion of the training. The duration of the trainee period will depend on the training needs required for the individual.

We have been long standing proud champions of the Consultant Radiographer with our first post holder appointed in 2011. We have extensive experience in radiographer led planning and treatment delivery pathways with excellent support from our Consultant Clinical Oncologist colleagues. Radiotherapy Electronics Advanced Clinical Technologist - (Band 7)

Applicants ideally will have a degree or HND/HNC in electronics / electro-mechanical/control engineering or an equivalent technical qualification. The successful applicant would be IT literate and ideally have experience in the servicing and repair of Elekta radiotherapy equipment. Applicants with similar experience maintaining another linac manufacturer’s equipment or in servicing complex multi-technology equipment such as medical imaging, radar, avionics or other real time control systems would be welcome to apply, in which case appointment would be to a lower grade and equipment specific training would be provided with the prospect of advancement to the Band 7 position.
