What is the Radiotherapy Patient Advocacy Hub?

Our patient supporters are important to us. If you or your loved one has had Radiotherapy and you would like to become a part of the Patient Advocacy Hub we want to hear your story and ensure the collective voice of Radiotherapy patients are heard.

Action Radiotherapy unites the radiotherapy community to promote greater equality and maximises the combined experience, knowledge and influence of their membership to ensure that the interests of patients are considered across a variety of areas. This page, and indeed the hub members itself, will serve as a resource and has been set up with support from Derek Stewart OBE.

Our progress

"I am alive because of radiotherapy treatment over 23 years ago in Nottingham. I firmly believe that our voices, as patient and carers, can come together through Action Radiotherapy to make a real difference for patients and all those hard working staff."
Derek Stewart OBE

I think I can contribute. Can I join the Radiotherapy Patient Advocacy Hub?

Please register your interest below, telling us how you would like to contribute or to tell us about your experiences with radiotherapy either directly or indirectly. We will contact due in due course. Thank you.

How you can help

Action Radiotherapy is comprised of radiotherapy professionals who, while working to treat patients, also volunteer their time to us. We want to say a huge THANK YOU to these, often forgotten, frontline workers - the Therapeutic Radiographers, the physicists and the clinicians.
